DIECAST Shoots New Video; In-Store Performance Details Announced
September 7, 2006DIECAST just completed a video for the new track "Fade Away" with acclaimed director David Brodsky (GOD FORBID, GWAR, THE RED CHORD),which resulted in a riveting conceptual piece sure to catch people’s attention. The track is from DIECAST's stunning new effort, "Internal Revolution", which perfectly showcases their constant evolution to develop their own unique sound. With a new lineup intact, the group was able to expand upon their influences with no preconceived boundaries, and the results were unlike anything they ever expected. This is most evident on "Fade Away", the blistering lead off single, which can now be streamed at this location.
The group has also just confirmed a special semi-acoustic record release show, which will take place at Newbury Comics in Nashua, N.H. at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19. The first 100 people to buy "Internal Revolution" will also receive a free ticket to DIECAST's headlining show at Mark's Showplace in Bedford, N.H. the following night. DIECAST spent the better part of this past year fine-tuning their new material before teaming up with longtime producer Paul Trust to track the long-awaited effort. The disc promises to be their biggest sounding and most dynamic offering yet. Paul Stoddard (vocals) further elaborates: "DIECAST are now stronger than ever.
